Leading under pressure has often made me feel alone. Taking care of hundreds, and eventually thousands, of people—and their families—has often meant the challenge of balancing my roles as a mom and a leader. Even though I have always had a great passion for my work and teams, stress and fatigue have become all too familiar friends.
I don’t easily give up, though, when I truly believe in something. My resilience comes from a life-long love of sports. From a young age, I’ve learned the importance of setting goals, working hard, and never giving up through middle and long-distance running. The spirit of sports, whether you play competitively, for fun, or to stay healthy, helps you discover your true purpose.
As a manager, I’ve come across challenges that remind me of those faced in sports, and my experiences in sports have always been very helpful in dealing with these hurdles. So, what truly makes a great leader? It’s not just about academic knowledge. It’s all about the lessons we learn from the ups and downs of everyday life.
Personally, I’m a big believer in re-evaluating old-school approaches and ditching outdated theories to embrace new, innovative solutions.
Throughout the years, I developed effective and practical tools for leadership and personal growth, and I’d love to share these with you and support you on your journey.
